Douglas S. Thompson

2002 – Present – President, HFS Capital Advisors, Inc.– founded company to act as a direct lender with Reilly Mortgage (now Wells Fargo). HFS is a direct correspondent with exclusive rights to Fannie, Freddie and FHA lending in all western states. To date HFS has funded and currently services over $280,000,000.
1992 – 2002 – Executive Vice President, Huntington Financial Services – Headed up the multifamily division of this brokerage company. Facilitated loan work-outs and began discounted payoffs due to Savings and Loan problems and began decade long work with FHA. Became one of the top producers at HUD/LA during this period and was also the only independent agent allowed to process in the region.
1985 – 1992 – Vice President/ Project Manager – Harris Bros. – Initial position was the Assistant to the President and moved up to the Project Manager on 3 multi-family projects of over 500 units. Directly responsible for financing, scheduling and planning aspects of these developments.
